Megan + Menace Show Debuts on Live 105 Mornings 8/6/12

Megan Holiday of Live 105 KITS middays joins Music In The Morning host Menace beginning on Mon. 8/6/12.

Megan was a sidekick with Menace before on the evening shift at Live 105.
 
So CBS is pumping some life into LIVE 105?
I hope they'll be live and not voice tracked.
Although, I do believe CBS does have Live Talent
all day long.
 
Props to Michael Martin & CBS for having the stones to build a Morning Show. Too many syndicated and voice tracked show already.

I agree. I've wondered for awhile why CBS didn't flip it to Sports or something else. Investing in a new morning show shows they at least want to make Live work for a little bit.
 
Can't help but think that this is a result of KFOG's failure to launch a Live105/Alice-style morning show (aka the Twitch debacle). KFOG' backtracking to a "safe" older-skewing morning show (and backtracking overall to reassure "Fogheads" their station hasn't changed drastically) has led Live105 to see an opening.
 
Wow, they're really pushing their new generation. (Megan, Menace, Dallas, Miles, & Adam.) The problem is most of them, especially Menace, sound like kids. The good thing is they're improving. Live 105 may not always sound great but at least it keeps on trying. Looking forward to this.

Let's hope they keep it. Live 105 is a brand in itself. I'm not in the market anymore, sounds like it got stale from how I remember it.

well, I suspect it's an attempt to create something that might be syndicatable down the road. I'm glad to see them waking up, the station has been awful the past few years. They seem to be seizing their moment: KFOG's "Twitch" clusterf--k has, I think, given them an opening.

Not necessarily, they seemed to like the Woody show just fine which was idiotic but amusing. Megan and Menace can probably pull off something similar.
