Memo To WIP: Update Your CBS Sports Radio Minutes!

Already I'm hearing the same ones from yesterday including Boomer tribute to Canada, as well as one on "tonight's" Jets/Titans game, and John Feinstein's take on the Mets being pathetic after trading away R.A. Dickey.

Unless there just aren't any new ones today... why air old ones?

Next order of business for WIP: Now that 610 is carrying CBS Sports Radio, it might be a good idea for you to lose the dual legal ID for WIP AM and FM. Just sayin'...

Definitely not overnights and I'm pretty sure not on weekends either. I think the CBS network is 24/7 (as opposed to 24/5), and 610 is carrying all of it except when it is pre-empted for things like Villanova basketball (which, like the network, is also not broadcast on 94.1).

I've been trying to listen to 610 on-line. 7 or so minutes of program, then 5 minutes of silence. Nothing local except a promo in the middle of the silence. No sign of a legal id. Not "must'hear" radio.

Amen to that. But she's an idiot who lucked into her position, so why should she be smart enough to figure anything out?
