Memories of WJCW and WJCW FM

WJCW was a MOR station back in the early 70's....with rock at night.
Does anyone have any info on the station, airshifts and DJs from that time?
My memory (spotty at best) remembers some of the following:
- Dick Ellis, 6-9AM, Also did sports P-by-P.....and a weekend scoreboard show.
- Charley Beal, 9AM-12N??, Was there also a ladies show from 9-10AM?
- Skip Sparkman, 12N-2PM??, Also did an afternoon shift on their FM?
- Damon Flannery, 2PM-6PM?? Was he the PD?
- Bill Cramer, 6:30PM-12M?? Argh the Wonder Toad, etc. etc. He was a true talent.
Do you remember the Mod Squad? One of them was Kathy Hewitt who also did an FM shift.
I believe that Charlie Beal eventually moved to afternoons...and did Bill Williams replace him in the midday?
Other names I remember include Theron Crane....and Larry Hinkle did nights FT and PT throughout the years.
Any info on any of the above...anyone I left out?
What year did WJCW change to country?
The FM was automated for many years...but they started adding DJs...eventually becoming WQUT.
Original FM DJ's I remember included Rick Hall, Hewitt, Crane, Sparkman. Was Dave Carter on the FM? Anyone else I'm forgetting? Remember the old controlroom in the fallout shelter?

Don't know much about the history, but I do know for a fact that ol' Dave Carter did work on WQUT many, many moons ago. I know this because someone here at Citadel has a staff picture in their office with some people I have never seen and then Dave Carter.

Well, how about the Tennessee Midnight Rambler? He is currently out of retirement and on at WQUT with a monthly show. If you are local to the Tri-Cities, you probably know that already. I believe he started at the old WJCW building on N. Roan St. before they moved the studio to Gray Station. I also grew up listening to The Wonder Toad.
