Did the now WSFS-FM numbers in July include the WAXY-AM numbers before the flip or were the WAXY-AM numbers so pathetic they weren't reportable?

Be that it may, it looks like the flip is a flop as the numbers have dropped majorly from where they were in July from a 2.1 to a .8, less than half of what it was as a Sports Talk station.

Also why do you think WLYF-FM's numbers drop so dramatically? Could it be the summer listeners are teachers that now have gone back to work? Maybe some niche marketing for the station next summer to sell ads directed at the teaching profession :)

A little too soon to conclude that WSFS is a failure. The format change purged the old WAXY-FM listeners, but it takes a while to market a new format. On top of that, WSFS is still building the new station; they don't have a full air staff yet (just one host so far).

Entercom tends to be much more patient and supportive with the alternative format, so I'd expect WSFS to be around for a while, even if its ratings don't pick up very quickly.
