Miami-Ft. Lauderdale-Hollywood Radio Ratings: September 2023

Well, WPOW is actually up in this ratings period. But it's still the #20 station.

Meanwhile co-owned WBBM-FM Chicago adopted a similar format of only about four current songs and the rest hits of the last 20 years. WBBM-FM is #21 in the Chicago ratings. A few other former Top 40 stations have also jumped on this bandwagon, including iHeart's Kiss-FM WKFS Cincinnati.

25-54: 1. WAMR (up from #5) 2. WHQT 3. WXDJ 4. WKIS 5. WLYF 6. WFEZ
18-34: 1T. WAMR (up from #4) 1T. WHQT 3. WRTO 4. WEDR 5. WRMA (up from #8) 10. WFLC (down from #5)
18-49: 1. WHQT 2. WAMR (up from #8T) 3. WRTO (up from #8T) 4. WEDR 5. WXDJ
_______ 6T. WFEZ 6T. WFLC 9T. WMIB (down from #5) 9T. WZTU

WFLC is #7 tied with the markets Classic Hits station. I think that WPOW is struggling cause they have to compete with them and there are now two Rhythmic Hot AC’s in the market.
