Well, with the big switch happening over a weekend (Dec 31 was Sat and Jan 1 was Sun), I don't know if there was any "regularity"...
IIRC, WTVJ was already carrying Sunday Today before the switch, and I think WCIX was carrying CBS Sunday Morning. WTVJ carried Football from CBS on Saturday afternoon - and a couple of ads for CBS programs on Sunday slipped through. WCIX picked up 60 Minutes (and the rest of the CBS Sunday night lineup) Sunday evening. WTVJ ran the NBC Sunday night lineup starting Jan. 1 - it was Family Ties followed by a movie, IIRC).
Both WSVN and WTVJ carried the Orange Bowl Parade on New Year's Eve night; WSVN carrying the NBC feed and WTVJ carrying a local feed (which they had done in previous years). One of the floats in the parade was from WTVJ filled with NBC stars - which I believe was carried on the national broadcast, but... WSVN covered that section of the parade with a long-shot of the Miami Skyline and generic crowd noise. After the float had cleared the broadcast, WSVN came back and you could faintly hear the "Come Home to the Best, Only on NBC" theme trailing off... (I have the broadcast on tape around here somewhere...).
Monday, everything appeared in its proper location on the appropriate network.
On a side note, WSVN didn't call themselves "Fox" - they became Independent - it was their "Independence Day" as they promo'ed on the news on 12/31.
