Might be a good idea to buy KLNZ 103.5 signal and put POWER format here.

Might be a good idea for CBS Radio, Emmis or Radio One to buy KLNZ 103.5 FM signal from Entravision Communications and put Power Hip-Hop format with KKFR call on this station and drop underperforming regional Spanish music from this station all together.

We've heard The Men In Secret Underwear want $7m for the intellectual property of Power 92  Nurse Jeff and I doubt Entravision would pay those pesos. CBS is selling, not buying. And the last thing Emmis needs is another stand alone in Phoenix. We don't mean to diss Power, but the cars their listeners drive are more beat up than our 76 Gremlin Levi's Special :D.

More Likely that Bonneville grabs either 103.5 or 103.9 and pairs the acquisition with 860AM....At that point the Duec(he) and Xtra sports can go dark....-30-

I think Entravision may be able to pony up $7 million to buy the Power format and stick it on 103.5. It wouldn't hurt if the benefit is reaping the rewards of profit after a couple years.

I don't think it'll happen but an 860 (primary coverage on the west side) pairing with 103.9 (East Valley coverage) makes more sense than one with 103.5 (another west-sider on White Tanks). In fact, a paring with 103.9 is the only way ESPN Radio will cover the entire Phoenix market until TMISU upgrade the KMVP signal (2 years from now, I've heard). And don't bet on Clear Channel ever shutting down XTRA. They're the most local of the sports-talk stations (outside of Rome) during the day. And, they make money.KDUS is a dead station walking. Since they lost the Cards, there's little reason to listen to them anymore. I'm surprised they're still doing sports. Maybe they're waiting for Sporting News Radio to give up the ghost before trying something else.
