Fayetteville - Dale Nicholson, President and General Manager of KATV and Frank Broyles, University of Arkansas Athletic Director, mutually announced today that sportscaster Mike Nail of Fayetteville will serve as the (ARSN) radio play-by-play announcer for University of Arkansas football games in the upcoming season.
“We are pleased that Mike Nail has agreed to take on this role for us in the interim,” said Nicholson. “Mike already serves as the play-by-play radio voice for the basketball Hogs and he has helped KATV on numerous occasions in this same capacity when we have provided cable television with pay-per-view feeds of Razorback football games. We feel it is in the best interest of Razorback fans to provide them with an announcer they are familiar with.”
