The longtime relationship between the Minnesota Twins and WCCO radio will end this season, as the team's new home beginning next year will be KSTP-AM 1500. The long-rumored move was made official today (8/1) during Joe Soucheray's KSTP radio show. The details:

- A 4-year deal (2007 thru 2010 seasons).
- The Twins receive all in-game ad revenue, and KSTP will pay an escalating annual rights fee during the deal. The station, however, will control ad time during pre-game and post-game programming.
- The Twins will expand the number of stations in the radio network to make up for the loss of signal strength from WCCO to KSTP.
- There are no plans at the moment to alter the broadcast team (John Gordon, Dan Gladden, and Herb Carneal).
