Miss you all in MS and wishing I was still in radio

This is the time of year to reflect back on events both past and present.

The good: Great job and wife with all the material things I want and then some.

The bad: Desperately missing the radio life and wishing I was still in MS.

I have great memories of the times I worked radio in MS and TV in the Southeast. Had a couple of egg nogs with a friend this evening and we got to talking about the crazy things we did in years past. Feelings started flooding back and as always, I got misty thinking about the the times I had in Radio on the MS Coast.

I was on the Coast a couple of months ago waiting on a business meeting and wandered into a higher end pawn shop. As soon as I started talking to the guy behind the counter, he said "you`re the guy on the radio". It blew me away as I had not been on the air in over ten years!

There isn`t a more loyal audience as those on the MS Coast and throughout the state of Mississippi.

Just wanted to say I miss you all and maybe one day I will return to doing what I love the most.

Hope all of you have a great Holiday Season!

As they say "Radio gets in your blood " . I was in Mississippi radio from 1976 till 1989 before moving away . Still keep up with things there through family and old friends . I've moved several times since then , worked in various different markets . Have played every music genre from CHR to Today's Hit Country , even Jammin Oldies . Mississippi listeners are the BEST and most loyal of all . Hope all my friends in the magnolia state had a very Merry Christmas and will have a Happy New Year ......and keep listening to your favorite station !!!

Or, as I like to say.... "You can take the man out of radio, but you can't take radio out of the man!
