Mix To Adult Hits (aka Classic Hits/Hot AC)?

Mix had a poor showing...3.6! Ouch! That's gotta hurt, since Z103dot5 is still beatin' Mix today. Mix should become Max 99-9, and the "Max" name is used in adult hits stations in San Francisco, Chattonaga & Topeka, and kill Jack FM (which should return to CHR-pop Kiss 92, BTW). Max 99-9 will have a much more clearer signal than ever.

I don't know why we have to have mix 99.9 and chum fm...as they almost sound alike...maybe it is time for mix to change.

come to think of it, i have 99.9 as a pre-set,
but rarely tune to it-unless, it is the weekend..
they sizzle... !! friday--thru sunday : )

I think Chum FM has a slight CHR feel and Mix has more of a classic rock/classic hits flavour. I prefer Chum FM. I notice a definite diference. I think Mix has a great staff though.

The MD is still the same guy that's been there from the begining (in 1991)

Mix has gone through many changes in sound etc. over the years, but based on the (now filled) job listing for PD, they were looking for someone who loves Hot AC, so, the classic rock feel may or may not continue...depending on what a TRUE Hot AC format really is...(according to the powers that be.)<P ID="signature">______________
