Modesto and Stockton Loses LA PRECIOSA in favor of ACTIVE ROCK

Well CLEAR CHANNEL has dropped the LA PRECIOSA Spanish Oldies format yesterday at 5:pM on both KMRQ-96.7 and KWSX-1280. ACTIVE ROCK has returned to 96.7 but what is surprising is that 1280 is simulcasting the ACTIVE ROCK also. I would have thought that CLEAR CHANNEL would have kept LA PRECIOSA on 1280? Personally I don't think CLEAR CHANNEL cares about 1280 anymore? I know they have been looking for a buyer for 1280. Maybe it would be cheaper for 1280 to go dark? Anyway, It looks like LA PRECIOSA bombed in the MODESTO/STOCKTON area.
