more out of town talent in Miami

So sad...is this the state of radio now? Although I don't disagree that sometimes you need to hire outside the market for a new perspective, do we really need another voice tracked show? Or has radio become so homogenized that listeners just don't ( or care) to pay attention anymore? How does the industry plan on "growing" talent if they keep putting the same shows on, with the same breaks, in every market?
Sorry, I am new to the board, so if I repeated a conversation/complaint in earlier threads, my apologies to you.

I think it's a combination of both. The small amount of owners that have a large amount of stations drive listeners who do care and pay attention away. Voice-tracking and automation just turn stations into a non-human entity. They're all jukeboxes now.
