Morning Drive-Time Radio Hosts from Hartford Magazine

The March issue of Hartford Magazine contains a two-page photo spread featuring AM drive radio hosts. It has Gary Craig of WTIC-FM, Ray Dunaway of WTIC-AM, Brad Davis - WDRC-AM, Cory Myers - WWYZ, Chuck Taylor - WHCN and John Saville - WDRC-FM.

What happened to the AM crews from WLAT, WKSS, WRCH, and WCCC? 2nd Tier?

Fair question... Then again, how many articles about radio are really all inclusive? They were probably thinking which morning shows would be of interest to their readership. If that's the case, then WRCH should be included. I don't see WZMX or WPHH on your list, either.

I'm not sure, but aren't they both carrying syndicated shows? I never listen to either station.

WZMX is and always has been live and local in morning drive. Origianlly when they went Hip-Hop it was JD and Nancy (left over from thier Jammin Oldies format) now with Nancy, DJ Buck, and Marv Lo. (Nancy actually has been on 93.7 for years. She used to be Sebastians side kick when 93.7 was the 70s station).

WPHH is syndicated. Carrying the god awful Steve Harvey Morning Show.

Also missing from the origianl list is WXCT/990, though it's a rimshot AMer they are live and local in morning drive (7am-9am) and have been since the last Monday in January with the legendary Thom Morgan. In the 70s he worked at WNTY, WIOF, and WDRC-FM. He also does voice over work and also works in the private sector. Thom also did mornings on WXCT from February 2004 to the end of April 2004. (which was right before they went habla espanol)
