Most annoying spot or jingle ever in ATL Radio

Mine is a simple question and I hope everyone has fun with it. What, in your opinion, would you consider to be the most revolting, annoying, offensive or (add your own adjective here) commercial or station promo to ever cross the airwaves in Atlanta?

Mine, while not annoying, would be one of two. Either the Rooms to Go jingle (Decorating's easy at Rooms to Go), which my children still sing to me because they know how much I detest it, OR ANY SPOT BY TOM SHANE! (I do not dislike Tom in any way and am glad of his success but his voice drives me up the wall!)

Next?

ok I have been lurking in here for years but I have to respond to this! On 106.7 it seems as if every other commercial is for a Divorce" specialist"(attorney). I an single, never been married, and I am sick and tired of these!!!! It seems as if the spots are trying to put some doubt about one's marriage and create a problem where on might not exists! Reminds me of Ambulance chasers!!!

"If you want-ski good price-ski, come in and see Kaminski... some people are obviously outside the parameters of mortification.
For the old timers... Momma got two of us for the price of one, and so can you at Furrrrrrrrrrrrniture City!
And just to start a fight: every syllable that has ever escaped from Hermain Cain's lips.

Hi Fi Kenny's...LOST OUR LEASE...CLOSING THE DOORS FOR-EV-ER!!!! c. 1984-1985

Then there was the one for Joker rolling papers..."get a pack of Joker, the joker's wild! You can roll 'em with class, you can roll 'em with style!" For true tobacco flavor... ::) ::) ::) Late 80s.

"Hah. I'm Hummin Kane." ;D

From the Pink Plumber jingle to the movers that'll "be knockin' at your door" to Heritage for the Blind jingle ... and many others too numerous to mention, Atlanta radio is loaded with commercial stupidity.

Just don't let it get on your nerves, Surfer. Always remember, you plenty of support from all your friends here...

...to add to your friend in the diamond business. :D

I have to say the Sweet Jack song ranks with some of the worst I've heard. Also, radio endorsements apparently are working for Zero Rez, which is a good thing. But I am sick of hearing them.

My favorite spot (that everybody else hated) was the guy in the 80's who did the Marietta Dodge spots. He did that great line, "Great Giggly Wiggly!". I loved that spot. What was that guy's name?

The best spot was when they were having a tent sale at White Water in the winter offseason, which they referred to as a "tidal wave of savings" that was "big enough to choke the Chicken!"

Ostensibly referring to the Big Chicken.

I hated when 95.5 The Beat went as the Beeyot!!! Worse than nails on a chalk board....they also had a jingle to the tune of "The Love Boat" the said..."The Beeeyyoott" to the beat (no pun) of the show's theme....omg..i hated that

These are awesome! I thought of another. ANYTHING WITH DALE CARDWELL!! (Nothing against him, I just feel he comes off as way to "I know more than you".)

I moved away from Atlanta 23 years ago and I still remember the Tom Shane spots. If only I had purchased some "Jooooollree."
Mark McCain and the Wake Up Crew on 96 Rock back in the early 80s spliced together an episode of Dr. Ruth's Sexually Speaking (which 96 Rock was carrying in the evening for a short bit) and some Shane Co. commercials, for a fun "interview".

Without a doubt "1 877 Kars for Kids". The kid can't carry a tune in a bucket and the adult thinks he's on stage at the Grand Ole Opry. :(

"The Shane Company. 11th Floor, Gaslight Tower.."

I can still hear it in my head. And I still hear the newer commercials here in Atlanta!

Where was the Gaslight Tower?
