I'm not the first with this observation, but first-adjacent WZBC 90.3 used to make WICN unlistenable at my location (Arlington Heights, atop Belmont Hill maybe .3 miles north of Route 2). I've now discovered that, since WICN's move from the Channel 27 tower to Asnebumskit Hill in Paxton, splatter from WZBC, though noticeable, no longer makes WICN's signal unlistenable here (using a CC Radio Plus with only the built-in telescoping antenna). What a delight! GREAT selection of music! (Though WGBH plays jazz overnight, there is minimal overlap in content with WICN, whose music selection is much more to my liking.) BTW, if you like the music that WICN plays but you still have problems receiving WICN over the air, the station's streaming audio is great.
How can WICN raise enough money to stay on the air from people who have one foot in the grave and who never spend money on anything except caskets and funerals?
