MSNBC Finishes 3rd Behind FOX News, HLN @ 8 PM (25-54) In January

Just fourteen months ago, on the cusp of the election of our current President, Barack Obama, it appears Keith Olbermann is losing his mojo.

His "Countdown" program on MSNBC has finished third behind HLN's "Nancy Grace" in the 25-54 demographic for the month of January. And if that isn't scary enough, CNN's Campbell Brown is breathing down his neck! Of course, Bill O'Reilly beats all of these shows combined at 8 PM.

I don't bother watching American cable news channels anymore so I can't really comment. Wake me up when a civil war breaks out, then we'll talk politics.

I no longer consider HLN a real "news" network. They go after the same sensational stories as the National Enquirer these days.

Then again, much could be said about the rest of the 24-hour news channels and the way they report things.

Hence why they are now referring to themselves as "HLN: News And Views."

Is their a point to this other than stroking Bill O's inflated ego.
