Much stronger Au condx = 2 new logs 11/11/14 Veterans Day

This Veteran's Day has brought some unusual Au condx to the AM dials here. 2 new logs tonight!

1440 - KUHL Santa Maria, CA; heard at 1730 PT with ID "This is the Information Station, AM 1440 KUHL, Santa Maria" into ABC News. Heard a couple minutes later (and taped) with mention of Santa Maria and Morro Bay. NEW #648, 1KW, 800 miles. Thought it was KMED at first, but no.

1410 - KCAL Redlands, CA; fair with SS mx at 1733 PT and ID "La Mexicana," over unid talk station (likely KMYC Marysville). NEW #649, 4KW, 881 miles.
These are the new ones but I will update later with relogs and recordings, and maybe more newbies.

1030 - XESDD Puerto Nuevo, BCN; TOH ID at 1900 PT mentioning call letters and Baja California. NEW #650, 5KW, 1010 miles. All alone on 1030!

4th new one now!

880 - KHAC Tse Bonito, NM; fair with Christian Contemporary song at 2111 PT, and Moody Radio ID at 2113. Also // tune-in. NEW #651, sounded like 10KW day power, 963 miles. NM #4. Audio clip to be posted later.

Here the Au mostly just blew out everything... I only heard the standard California stations that appear during auroras, KSTE louder than usual; KTNN was very weak, competing with KAPS; KFMB in a bit better than usual, etc.

No Mexicans though, not like some past auroral conditions where XEWW covered a nearly non-existent CBU, for example...

I did hear KALL Salt Lake City coming in fairly loud on 700, cutting through the KIRO splash -- that was unusual.
