Musician Mistakes WFNX For NYC's WRXP - At WFNX Concert!

Gotta give credit to WBIMDJ for posting this gem on the New York City board:

I was at alternative station WFNX's "Miracle" X-mas concert show last night in Boston featuring Neon Trees, Broken Bells and Ra Ra Riot. The idiot lead singer of Neon Trees says at the beginning of their set, "We want to thank WRXP for having us." I erupted with laughter upon hearing this, and thought to myself "wow, way to insult WFNX" ;D

Looks like those WEEI-FM rumors are starting to grow a beard! :D
 
Sounds like it was just an "honest fart" by the lead singer. WBIMDJ needs to get a life, and stop picking on the lead singer from the Neon Trees. ::) :eek:

Haha. Well he picks on himself too, he called himself a d*bag several times during the set. I wonder if he was "on" something.

Yeah, kinda stupid, but no harm done. At least it was not a direct competitor!
 
When I was at FNX, years ago, a band (I want to say Buffalo Tom) thanks WZLX. It happens. Bands are the last ones to care about that sort of thing. I remember a band thanking Budweiser, the event sponsor, for breaking up his family and leading his dad to beating up his mom. Now THAT is not cool.
