I love reading Radio Discussions. It's become a daily habit. Really appreciate all the different perspectives aired here. Big props to Lance, the moderators-- and the many radio pros who give me (just a humble listener) such a great education on the industry.
Thank you, but it's a team effort with @fybush, @DavidEduardo, @Huff and @Michi. All I do is keep the server running. Outside of those who want to insert their personal politics into threads, it is a well oiled-machine at this point.

Radio has shrunk so much as a business, there are few places left online to discuss the industry. I've been visting here since the old radio-info.com message board days 25 years ago, and the board is better than ever (minus the smaller audience).

For those that don't know the story.
Frank Berry left us due to cancer. He asked his partner to transfer the site to me, knowing I would do the best that I could to keep it going. As I am not the best qualified person to manage such a site (and have another little site to try to keep up with), I immediately contacted Lance, whom I had known since the very early days of the site.
As Lance is a "Founding Father" of the site, I knew he was the right person to take it over. For those who don't know, Frank was making a small profit from the site, and it supplemented his retirement income; I felt that a new owner could better capitalize on that. Lance has other services, and the site seemed to me to be a "missing part" of his news site and other services to the industry.
Looking at the site now, I am truly satisfied and gratified by that decision. Along with Huff, Scott and Michi, we have a support team with varied experience and outlooks and the site is running more smoothly than I've ever seen it perform in the past.

It's not about Los Angeles. If anywhere it should be in the Ask The Moderators, but none of us are here for praise posts so really it doesn't need to be made.
