Im revamping the playlist to a bit more underground and less pop remix stiffs, and its gonna be in 224k,, so I should be back on in a few hours or at least by morning,,,,,, thanks,,, I just got broke up with my Fiance,, left me for another dude and it was quite and shocker, so im going through alot,, im getting rid of most the poppy stuff and songs that remind me of her. Im having some ruff times, so sorry bout the downtime

BTW I am using Adobe Flash Media encoder for HQ bandwidth and processing....
 
I'm listening now with your stream feeding into my part 15 AM with reverb and 20db of compression from an ART Pro VLA
vacuum tube leveler, sounds really good for a stream. There are occasional dropouts, which is disconcerting, but this is
otherwise a really good sounding stream. Haven't heard anything yet that really rubs me the wrong way.
How far back into the past do your selections go, like, would you play GO! by Tones on Tale?
 
I havent had any drop outs on my end, cause the stream isnt saying disconnected it all,, maybe the 224k is a bit too high for some,, especially DSL,, I may drop down to 192k and then let me know if it does better,,, K????? I have kinda an anything goes dance format,, if its good I will play it, and I will never say no to anyones request as long as it is dancy....
 
I plugged in the headphones at the computer and took a whole different opinion.

Because the 224k is so defined, I hear this as being overcompressed and subject to the same fatigue that happens when
the dynamic range is due to there NOT being enough signal....Except this is WAY too much. It should be possible to set a computer
output hardware "volume" setting to one click and still have some silence.

First, bring the whole thing down 6db and let this thing breathe for a minute, then lets see how it pumps, but don't back down off the
224 just yet.

Did I recommend you buy Breakaway Broadcast Audio Processor?
Let me recommend that to you about 100 times right now.
I've been at this for 40 years, and I'v never heard any such this-n-that combo of boxes that can do what it does.
Oh, I've mastered some tapes that sounded on their own, just like what BBP does, but it took HOURS AND HOURS to get everything
that good and assemble it. Each recording has its varying needs. BBP takes care of that on the fly.
 
I got that from the headphones too,, lets see what 160k and the modualtion backed down will do.. I know some DSL users have had buffering issues...
 
It sounds great now,, I got the VU meter going back and fourth instead of pegged,, its better at 160k with the modulation down, and I can hold more listeners now,, Ideally.. Im surprised at how many hits ive been getting on this, then again im the only 24/7 dance station on Ustream.
