Allan McDonald, engineer who refused to approve Challenger launch, dies in Ogden
The engineer in charge of building rocket boosters for NASA through the Ogden contractor Morton Thiokol and tried to prevent the Challenger space shuttle launch, Allan McDonald, has died in Ogden at age 83 according to NPR.
