Nashville's Rock and Roll Hits of the 60's and 70's the NEW WRQQ 97.1

There's a horrible null in the Green Hills area, which really makes little sense. Oh, and a total blockout on Music Row, so certain
radio people don't have to listen to their own radio stations.....Seriously, the signal for 97.1 has more problems around Nashville
metro than I would expect it to have. I can understand it trashing out S of Rutherford and Maury counties, but within 20 miles of the tower
in the Nashville basin is interesting and it was fine for a couple of years after launch, then it was horrible for a few months until someone finally listened and called in medical help. Still, it never got back to what it was.

I guess nothing can come close to the shock and awe of 102.5 and 102.9 mega-signals. They sound like a 1,746 watt signal.

They really need drop all the syndicated programming like "Super Gold", "American Gold" and Tom Kent. The other day around 7 p.m., they finished off a song (I don't know what it was, maybe Elton John) and cut right into the tail end of "Take Me Home, Country Roads" by John Denver and into Tom Kent. It's annoying-pick one format or the other. Why don't they drop sports on sister station WNFN (very low-rated, near the bottom with a .6 in the ratings) and make that an oldies station? They could move Tom Kent and Super Gold down there. It's a no-brainer. WRQQ would do much better if they played ALL classic hits.
