Boston journalist Nathalie Pozo will join Hearst Television’s ABC affiliate WCVB Boston (DMA 10) as weekend evening anchor and general assignment reporter beginning Monday, Oct. 5.

Pozo will co-anchor weekend editions of NewsCenter 5 with Shaun Chaiyabhat. This move marks her homecoming to Hearst Television, having anchored and reported earlier in her career at Hearst-owned WPBF in West Palm Beach, Fla. Most recently, Pozo worked at WHDH Boston.

Pozo came to Boston in 2017 and has reported on major news events like the shooting of Red Sox legend David Ortiz. Pozo translated the unfolding information from Spanish to English during her live exclusive reports from the Dominican Republic. She received an Emmy award and multiple nominations for her coverage.

Pozo is moving from WHDH to Hearst owned WCVB-TV.
