NBC In Talks With O'Donnell - Rosie O'Donnell - For New Daytime Show

Like her, hate her or don't care, she got very good ratings on her own show, and her "comeback" to the View gave that show a major shot in the arm. That hardly makes NBC "desperate" by engaging in conversations; it makes them smart enough to be willing to explore options that might give them a boost.

I didn't know anybody even really still watched such channels.

Yawn, it will be just like May 2002 all over again (when her original show ended and Caroline Rhea took over, but lasted only one season). I'm not surprised NBC wants her since her 1996-2002 show was based out of NBC's 30 Rock studios.

[I'd rather watch] Rosie the Robot. Or even Grier.

I'll even settle for the old "Little Rosey" animated series at this point.

Rosie is a funny lady but she is a total mess. If she had a good manager to guide her on TV career and would listen she'd be a success.

But she doesn't have the mental capacity to back her statements up with facts. It's like The View's, Elisabeth. If you watch the show one thing that strikes me is how often Elisabeth is correct. HOWEVER, she also lacks the mental capacity to back any of her statements up so she comes off looking stupid. Which she is. Doesn't mean she's wrong but she just is unable to prove her point intelligently.

If Rosie sticks to comedy, entertainment and things like when she promoted eBay she'd do fine. Basically I'm saying stay off poltics, and controversy and just entertain the audience, she'd be well received.

10,000 zuzuvelas are more entertaining.

They are also less annoying, sound better, and have far more to say.

She seemed to do well when she was fawning over Tom Cruise.
Maybe she should just take Oprah's topics and put some spin on them.
Too bad for her Oprah's show will be ending soon. womp womp

Yes, Oprah's show will be ending soon...or was that just her impersonator after she became somebody else?

Even if she's a true shapeshifter, she'll never duplicate the power and ratings she once had.
Maybe she'll go country....
