NBC pulls this week's (1/30/12) episode of "Fear Factor"off the schedule.

The reason why? Well, here it is:

The episode, titled "Hee Haw, Hee Haw" was inspired by the Country Variety Series of the same name that was hosted by Buck Owens & Roy Clark, which was originally ran on CBS before it continued in syndication for 23 seasons. In this challenge, players MUST drink semen & urine from a donkey, which is considered extremely gross & disgusting. So that in mind, NBC pulls it off the schedule. It's been now three weeks since Fear Factor has been pulled off from the peacocks's schedule; 1-for The Betty White Special, 2-For The Presidential Candidate's untimely scheduled debate, and finally, for a Fear Factor rerun which involves-not as gross & disgusting-snakes in a glass coffin.

Sounds too gross to watch......kinda like watching open heart surgery. Some folks like to be
grossed out and would even spend a night with Roseanne or Rosie, but most would pass.

When did the February sweeps period begin? Is it this Thursday? That's probably why they're rescheduling it.

Also from what I heard, Organizations like PETA, The SPCA, The PTC, and The American Donkey & Mule Society (ADAMS)are also jumping on the gun to pull "Fear Factor", and they have won this ordeal From Endemol, NBC, and its parent company, Comcast. Who the latter has complied with these organizations and pulled it off NBC, and from Hulu, which was supposed to be The Game Show's season finale.

It will be the best episode of Fear Factor ever! They better not chicken out and choose not to air it.

i did not realize the series was still on the air.i never liked the reality tv thing much.be it shows like fear factor, big brother, the talent contests or shows following people around on camera.

as far as i am concerned they could pull all of them off the air.

The channel now known as TLC started out as The Learning Channel, and in those days I recall they DID have one or two shows that included closeups of surgery. PBS has also done so. Just not at the dinner hour.

It was off the air until this season. I think it was 5 or 6 years between new episodes, maybe even longer than that. But an NBC exec got the brilliant(?) idea to not only recycle the idea for the show but to bring Joe Rogan back as well. I thought he was doing pretty good money wise with all the MMA stuff he was doing. NBC must have offered to write a pretty big check to have him agree to come back.

Were you referring to Roseanne Barr, the actor and comedian, and Rosie O'Donnell, the actor and talk show host?

Well he wasn't referring to Roseanne Rosannadanna from SNL and Rosie Greer of the NFL.

Re: NBC pulls this week's (1/30/12) episode of "Fear Factor"off the schedule.

I think Rogan has really made money doing UFC fights like he did in Chicago, and I think that's the reason why Rogan has spent these 5 good years away from Fear Factor.

CORRECT.

911.............I'm at Roseanne's house in Hawaii. Please come get me. If she says another 500
cuss words in the next 30 minutes I think I'll jump into the ocean and end it all.

911............I'm at Rosie's house in (I think she sold her Florida place).....please come right
away she's got 15 cheeze curl stuck up her nose and isn't breathing........HURRY.

Knowing this "test" will be part of an episode..any episode just confirms the fact there are a lot of stupid people in this country. And a lot of lazy, no-account jerks that will submit their body to do things to try and make a buck. People complain about how messed up thing are. Its because losers are out there on a show like this tripe and even more jackwagons that will watch it. Its things like this that make watching WWE seem like Shakespeare. What the hell has happened to this world. MAKE A STAND!!!!! TURN THIS CRAP OFF!!

^There was no need to express such anger on a message board, pittdave.

Re: NBC pulls this week's (1/30/12) episode of "Fear Factor"off the schedule.

Up until know, the perception is that the "hors d'oevures du jour" have been food-grade items. Gross, but actually consumed somewhere in the world without consequence. They were also listed on some USDA list somewhere.

I want to know where in the world anyone drinks donkey fluids - and for what Non-Survivalist purpose. So far I haven't found anything.

One more thing: has it passed the "Andrew Zimmern" test? If he's eaten it, it's probably edible enough.

Re: NBC pulls this week's (1/30/12) episode of "Fear Factor"off the schedule.

Guess what? I love to see Rogan drink The Donkey Pee and Jizz before the players can do it. But on the safe side, I like to see the contestants lay on a bed full of snakes, spiders, and other things that go bump in the night. instead of seeing them eat or drink something gross or disgusting, and might give them a bad taste in their mouths, or perhaps throw up.

Re: NBC pulls this week's (1/30/12) episode of "Fear Factor"off the schedule.

I think Fear Factor needs to research reasons why people watch the reruns on Chill in the first place.
I don't think it's for the thrill of watching someone drink donkey pee.

I hate the gross stuff. I much prefer the other stunts.
