NBC said to be building new Tonight Show studio at 30 Rock

Will he produce The Tonight Show With Jimmy Fallon? AND Late Night With (Its been rumored) Seth Myers?

In essence Lorne Michaels will be producing virtually all of NBC's Late Night Programming??
Holy Moley!!

Also 30 Rock.

However, he is executive producer of those shows. He's not involved in the day to day, nuts and bolts. I would not be upraised if his production company did not produce Fallon's Tonight Show and if Lorne did not play a role. Moving the show back to New York would suggest Lorne will be involved.

30 Rock finished its run this season. It's over already.

And Lorne is an extremely hands-on EP. He's building an empire. In fact, the motivator for the Tonight changes have less to do with Jay or Jmmy than they do with Comcast's belief that Lorne's the guy.

And for NBC, things just keep getting uglier. Link below is a story alledging network orders forbidding Ann Curry from reaching out to ABC's Robbin Roberts during her cancer treatments. "Aiding the enemy" they called it...

Referring to the Leno mess, FOX News TV anchor John Scott commented yesterday that NBC should learn a lesson for it's messy handling of the Ann Curry debacle.

It's 3PM on the West Coast. Leno's writers already have a joke about that for tonight's show, guaranteed. There'll be second-guessing about taste, and they might shelve it for a day or two so the audience can become familiar with the story from other sources first, but they will absolutely use it.

The narrative becomes "NBC isn't just untrustworthy and stupid, they're evil."
