NBC Sprouts New Saturday Morning Kids Block

I find it really weird that NBC would air a "PBS" Kids Sprout programming block, since PBS is a completely different network. How could they even do this?

Comcast, NBC's new parent company, owns a stake in Sprout, along with PBS (of course), Sesame Workshop and Apax Partners (a British venture capital firm).

And, Comcast is the partner that actually runs the channel. It was run out of Comcast's big, tall HQ bldg in Philly before they bought NBC. I'm not sure if they still run it out of Philly or it has been turned over to NBC to operate.

It is still ran out of Philly as most of their live talent (Sean Roach and Liz Vrooman) on "The Sunny Side Up Show" are local improv actors at Comedysportz in Philly. And when they were doing casting calls for kids for The Super Sproulet Show which features Lazytown they were scouting the Delaware Valley for kids to be extras.
