NBC Sunday Night Football on KPNX Channel 12

Tonight, I watched the Arizona Cardinals vs. Seattle Seahawks on Channel 12. This game ends up with 6-6 ties and no one come up as a winner on national television. The Arizona Cardinals should win the football without missing field goal.

What does the Cards (and Seahawks) pathetic kicking game have to do with Channel 12?

I know NBC is doing a good job of broadcasting Sunday Night Football. I know CBS and NBC split broadcast rights for Thursday Night Football. CBS covered the first half of the season and NBC covered the second half of the season. I remembered FOX took away NFC Conference games from CBS. That caused lots of affiliate switches around the country, including here in Phoenix, AZ.

We know that. Your point is?

They happened close to the same time in 1994, but they weren't directly related. Fox bought a controlling share of New World, who owned KSAZ/10 and other, mostly CBS affiliates at the time, switching their affiliations to Fox as soon as their current contracts expired. They bought out the rest of the company in 1996.
