Out of any of these leagues, the USFL no doubt had the highest quality on-field product.
Many of their coaches and players went on to very productive NFL careers. In fact, it was
only Donald Trump's stubborn insistence that they had to move to the fall and take on the
NFL directly that doomed them. The USFL team here in Pittsburgh closed up shop the next
day, there was no way they were going to take on the Steelers.
The UFL is very hard to watch. The lime green markers and flags are just disturbing.
Likewise I recall the WFL being rather hard to watch. The XFL at least was entertaining,
with the "Safety Scramble", over-the-top cheerleaders and hokey wrestling promotion.
