Especially read the 2nd article. Basically, the method used to create NBC Sports Group is being applied for NBC News Group. MSNBC will remain "subordinate" to NBC News for the time being. Oh, btw, the Weather Channel is also part of this new entity.

I get the need for this.

While I understand why they do this, I still don't like seeing anyone from MSNBC appearing on other NBC-related channels unless it's only Willie Geist. He doesn't bother me at all. It's just my opinion which I'm sure someone will disagree with me.

Brian Williams and Lester Holt should be fired immediately!

Um, no. I like Holt and I can tolerate Williams most of the time now. It's when he shows up on various talk shows like Letterman and Leno that I become annoyed with him.

I should clarify my earlier statement. If MSNBC wasn't so slanted towards one political side, then I would be okay with them appearing on other NBC channels. Yes, I feel the same way with Fox News although Fox Business seems awfully close to being Fox News 2 than an entirely different channel like CNBC, imo. Then again, I could be wrong about that.

Let's see if NBC Radio can revive the "Monitor" weekend radio service.
NBC Radio ITSELF needs to be revived first (NBC Radio News is syndicated via Westwood One/Dial Global)

Cheers & 73 ;D
