Need to locate new internet Adult Standards station

I came across a VERY NICE Standards station that's in Northern California. It's KJZY Santa Rosa, CA (frequency change and signal upgrade to 93.7 on Aug. 1). Here's a song sample of what was heard:

Ella Fitzgerald/Louis Armstrong. "They Can't Take That Away From Me"

Barry Manilow. "I'll Never Smile Again "

Barbara Streisand/Billy Joel. "New York State Of Mind"

Cal Tjader "The Way You Look Tonight"

Glenn Miller Orch. "String Of Pearls"

Henry Mancini. "Stardust"

Linda Ronstadt. "Skylark"

Billie Holiday. "Moonglow"

As well as Jimmy Durante and Diana Krall...

Announced today, the new website will be KJZY.com. They are swapping frequencies with a low rated Country station (The Bull).

I was born 5 days into the Baby Boomer generation, and I don't care for any of the music from the era prior to Buddy Holly and Little Richard and Bill Haley. But more than n=1, I do not know of any contemporaries from school, high school or college or, later, from work that like crooners and big bands.

This makes me wonder how many people born after 1946 care for that music... and if they do, how did they acquire that taste?
I think I acquired that taste from records my mom played when I was young and watching old black & white musical movies on UHF with my parents when I was young.

I'm back on KTUC and there was a commercial for a law firm with locations in Pennsylvania. I'm not in Pennsylvania and KTUC is in Arizona. They did keep saying my name over and over.

KTUC and all stations owned by Cumulus use the iHeartRadio platform for streaming. That app knows where you are listening and during breaks it plays local commercials for your area. Same with the Audacy app. You don't hear that station's commercials, you hear the ones for your area.

It is odd that Cumulus owns "America's Best Music," a mix of soft oldies, soft AC with a few standards, yet KTUC is not a subscriber. Someone in Tucson is programming KTUC as a more traditional Adult Standards station. That's a bit too old for me. So when I want America's Best Music, I listen to WNAM in the Appleton-Oshkosh market. There are a few other America's Best Music stations that stream but it's just easier to access the format from WNAM on the iHeart app.

I notice iHeartRadio has an adult standards service, called "The Standard Radio." It also has a service called "Swooners & Crooners." So these formats are easy to access. It's all automated, no DJs. But then, America's Best Music got rid of its DJs in 2015, so that service also has nobody announcing the songs or adding personality. You'd think they'd at least tag the songs with a voice saying "That's Barry Manilow with Mandy" or "Dionne Warwick gave us Walk On By."

If it is possible to have too much Sinatra, The Standard did. And then I heard songs that I had never heard on a standards station. I don't think they were even trying.

I never heard the second one. Maybe it's worth trying.

I wonder how a station would keep from playing the same person twice? I just heard a Linda Ronstadt song) not an actual standard, but something from when she sort of sounded country) followed by a Stone Poneys song.

WERT is sounding really good today.

I'm currently listening to a mix of WNAM, WERT and KAHM. I tried KSHO but they were playing Taylor Swift of all things. KSHO is more of an Adult Contemporary, so I guess it makes sense, but since I don't like her music, I won't be listening.

Have you listened to WRDV? They play standards during the week and oldies on the weekends:
No, I haven't!

I used to listen to a lot of big band (partly because that's what was on KABL, and partly because I listened to my grandfather's old tapes and records. I was so into it at one point, that I even bought several box sets of various big band songs, plus a bunch of records of my own. I was pretty open and liked more or less all of it, but I was particularly fond of the music of Glenn Miller and Tommy Dorsey.

I sort of drifted away from it in the years since (I was most actively listening to it from about 2000 to 2005 or 2006), and I've been thinking of maybe getting back into it again after rediscovering some old mixtapes I made.

In the meantime, I'll give WRDV a listen. Thank you for the recommendation!

You’re welcome! Who did you like for big bands? My grandparents loved listening to and got to meet Guy Lombardo once, they said he was a super nice guy.

I added some of my answer as an edit to my last post.

To add, I also liked Guy Lombardo somewhat, as well as Benny Goodman, Harry James, Duke Ellington, Count Basie and Jimmy Dorsey (I especially liked Tommy and Jimmy's collaboration in "The Fabulous Dorseys in Hi-Fi," which was recorded not long before Tommy choked to death (Jimmy died of some kind of cancer not too long after, if I'm not mistaken)).

I am approaching 80 and there are songs there I never liked and would never want to hear. That is music mostly for folks over 80.

I may have mentioned serenaderadio.com. While I don't know all the shows on their schedule, these are the ones I listen to that have standards. That does not mean what America's Best Music is playing, although they do that too. I just don't know when.

Kevin Taylor was the first of the DJs I found out about, from 4 to 6 P.M. Eastern on weekends. David Yarnall is on from 8 A.M. to 1 P.M. Eastern weekdays. Jane Markham is on from 1 to 2 P.M. Eastern weekdays. Andy Marriott started the station and has a show from 2 to 4 P.M. Eastern weekdays. Dick Fisher is on from 5 to 7 P.M. Eastern weekdays.

If you like big band, that's on Sundays from 1-2 P.M. Eastern and weekdays from 4-5 P.M. Eastern.

And if you like "beautiful music", Simon McLean is on from 7 to 8 P.M. Eastern weekdays. Many of the shows I listed above also have some instrumentals too.

Forgot to mention big band music shows up on most of the shows I listed. And there is a "vintage tune" at the end of the first half hour of Andy Marriott's show. Usually much older than even what is heard on big band shows.

I came across WQEZ-DB (qezradio.com), and it's another good EZ listening station. It's similar to KAHM, but with better sound quality and a somewhat more traditional playlist.

As far as I can determine, this is a recreation of WQEZ 96.5, which aired the Beautiful Music format from 1973-1982 (it has since been known as WMJJ, aka Magic 96.5).
