Why did Fox News get away from “we report, you decide” mentality? He was great on FNCOne of the last "we report, you decide" guys there. He & Tony Snow were the first anchors when the channel started in 1996. Seems like forever ago.
$$$ and core demos lean a certain way yes Trump. Why did Fox News get away from “we report, you decide” mentality? He was great on FNC
What commercials do they have though. It’s mostly adult diapers and generic viagra pills.Isn't their job to attract the largest possible audience to view the commercials during the programming elements? Isn't that the job of all radio and TV stations and networks? I would say they're doing just fine.
Don’t forget the gold and silver coinsWhat commercials do they have though. It’s mostly adult diapers and generic viagra pills.
And Tom Sellick selling a reverse mortgage.Don’t forget the gold and silver coins
Like he ever used their services after getting to live in Robin Masters house for free for years! And Tom Sellick selling a reverse mortgage.
Doesn't matter as long as the check clears whether it is for a set rate or a few coins per inquiry. I'm guessing they earn enough to keep the lights on. Over at MSNBC they can't even afford a decent haircut for Rachael MaddowWhat commercials do they have though. It’s mostly adult diapers and generic viagra pills.

Those fees are slowly drying up.The main money all cable channels have is the clearance fees from cable companies and other distribution outlets.

The wonderful thing about America is that you don't ever have to watch that rich Republican Trump crap. You can change the channel. The point though is that Fox is in business to bring viewers and as long as enough of them are there to see the commercials, that is what counts. You ethical types can abandon them and when people don't see the commercials any longer, Fox will switch to pro leftist socialist inflationary policies that will warm your heart, possibly to the detriment of the environment and global warming. MAGA. Make America Gore AgainIsn't it possible to do their job of attracting a large conservative audience without spreading factually incorrect "news" and demonizing their opponents? There used to be this thing called ethics, I worked for broadcasters that were highly conservative but wouldn't allow of the behavior on that channel. I've worked with conservative reporters and anchors who would report facts, not hyperbole and slant.
Call me old fashioned, but just because something is profitable doesn't make it right. And just because it's ethical doesn't mean you can't make a profit either. I actually used to watch Fox News. I thought it was a fresh alternative and healthy for CNN to have the competition. I'd even watch O'Reilly. He'd talk with Jon Stewart or Marilyn Manson and have a lively debate. That was good television and thought provoking. That was also before I was aware of O'Reilly's scummy personal behavior. But there was a place for what Fox did. Shepherd Smith was an ethical man, who no longer fit in there because he wouldn't kiss the right bottoms. Now credible journalists like Smith, Wallace, and Baier get criticized by the audience for not falling in line or asking the wrong question of their idol.
Fox gets a lot of criticism and it isn't because everyone criticizing is some Berkeley leftist. It gets criticized in many cases because a center-right alternative to CNN became a channel that crowded out the actual journalists and blurred the line further between journalism and opinion to the detriment of discourse, including conservative discourse. The issue is not the conservatism. It's the decline in their ethics that led to people like Tucker Carlson being elevated to star status. It's the scandals with high level management and talent that couldn't seem to control their own urges and not harass female employees. Some things aren't about politics, they're about morality.

They have all the trump shoes and trump watch commercials to maintain..... They cant risk compromising that for some fair reporting..... they gotta look at the greater good. Fox news is simply showing people where their priorities are. ....... It says all I need to know about that channel and what its become. Plus they cant risk losing trump because every time hes on they make like millions of dollars.. So why not just appease trump by pushing cavuto out. It makes perfect sense. What commercials do they have though. It’s mostly adult diapers and generic viagra pills.
You don’t watch at all, do you? There are no such ads. They have all the trump shoes and trump watch commercials to maintain.....
Yet its viewing numbers are about twice that of MSNBC and CNN combined. Like all older-leaning sources, they depend on different client categories than the traditional wired nets or other cable channels. They cant risk compromising that for some fair reporting..... they gotta look at the greater good. Fox news is simply showing people where their priorities are. ....... It says all I need to know about that channel and what it’s become.
Of course, that statement goes beyond hyperbole. There are no facts to support that statement.Plus they cant risk losing trump because every time hes on they make like millions of dollars..
While it is possible that Cavuto left because he did not feel comfortable in the environment, he may also have left simply because he wanted to move on. Since there is no proof, one way or another, any conclusion by any of us is purely based on simple guessing. So why not just appease trump by pushing cavuto out. It makes perfect sense.
