Idaho Nelly Broadcasting to buy a pair of McCall FM Stations

KUJJ 95.5 & KDZY 98.3 McCall Idaho
Seller is Inspirational Family Radio KSPD Boise KBXL Caldwell and a translator
Buyer Nelly Broadcasting KORT KORT-FM KZBG KZID and many translators including one already in McCall.
$200,000.

Any relation to the late Jim Nelly?

Could 95.5 go Classic Hits? Given that KORT-AM and K-HITS are also the same?
KUJJ is satellite AC currently; KDZY is Real Country w/ SRN news at the top of the hour.

Inspirational Radio will only have 790 KSPD and its translator when the KBXL sale goes through.
I believe the translator's not attached to the AM license.

I had a phone conversation a few months ago with the current owner of Nelly Broadcasting by phone because of some mutual friends we have.... hes been in radio awhile, smart guy and loves the business it seems

Nelly has taken over. 98.3 loses the Superstar Country branding and is now 'Big Country 98.3 KDZY'. The Project translator on 94.5 has flipped to a simulcast of KDZY.
95.5 has slightly different branding, it's "The Big Star FM". Similar format as before.
The 92.3 translator in Riggins for KORT-FM has also gone back to the air.

I take it back. STAR FM is not the same AC format as before. It's definitely in the realms of Adult Top 40. Songs like "luther" by Kendrick Lamar which would never see the light of day on a soft rock station. Very much tuned into 1995-2025 music for a younger 25-40 demographic.
KDZY is adding RDS too.
