New Arizona Cardinals preseason affilliates: KPNX/12 Phoenix and KTTU/18 Tucson

This one slipped by me for some reason. They'd been with Channel 15 forever.

Now, if they can just stop superimposing their Spanish-language feed with the English-language feed, all will be good. Coach Arians was very hard to understand.

Every single affiliate turned over. In Las Vegas, they switched from KVVU to KSNV. (I'd always thought Scripps would keep the Cardinals and sign KTNV to replace KVVU instead, but here we are.) KMSB is also nominally in the network, so maybe they are airing one or two of the games alongside KTTU.

Last season was odd. The Cardinals clearly wanted KPNX and had already moved their coaches' shows, but KNXV still had the preseason games.

Instead of placing the NBC coverage of NASCAR to a subchannel while the Cards preseason game was going on, KPNX relinquished the rights to KTVK.

My guess is that, given that the satellites don't air subchannels, NBC made the decision for them.
