From the Clifton area, only 10 miles from the New York locals. With 95.5, 98.7. 100.3, 101.1, 103.5, 104.3, 105.1, and 106.7's HD off for overnight maintenance, I was able to receive some new stations and others I normally receive underneath the IBOC.
New catches: 98.3 WILI from Willimantic CT 117 miles, when nulled from WKJY and WMGQ. 104.9 WIHS from Middletown, CT 91 miles. 100.9 WKNL from New London, CT(ROXY FM) WILI was the most interesting catch since the signal has trouble reaching Hartford. Also WBMW having a decent signal, when its a tough catch in the Hartford area.
With the IBOC off, I could easily catch WKSS 95.7, WTIC 96.5, WBON WBBO 98.5, WRCH 100.5, WKCI 101.3, WBEA 101.7, WVEI 103.7, WMRQ 104.1, and WBMW 106.5. It was a nice treat, instead of having to null the IBOC, like most of the time. Also, last week at around 2:30 AM, WCBS was going in and out and WBEB would come in with a weak- moderate signal. Catching WBEB from home with WCBS only 10 miles away has been my dream catch! Now only if Z100 goes off the air for just a minute... ;D
