New City of License for WRVA-FM "100.7 The River"

"100.7 The River" WRVA-FM is now officially licensed to Wake Forest, as they had applied to do a while back. As their signal is as strong in Wake Forest as their original COL Rocky Mount, no antenna move is needed. This is the first of four COL moves that will allow Capitol Broadcasting's WCMC "99.9 The Fan" to move to CBC's tower farm in Auburn and upgrade their signal from an 8,000-watt class C-3 to a 26,500 C-2, while honoring FCC class limits and allowing all communities involved to preserve at least one aural service...

WRVA-FM 100.7 Rocky Mount---> Wake Forest

WDRU 1030 Wake Forest---> Creedmoor

WKXB-FM 99.9 Burgaw (C-1, 100kW)---> Boing Spring Lakes(C-2, 35kW)

WCMC-FM 99.9 Creedmoor (C-3, 8kW)---> Holly Springs (C-2, 26.5kW)
