New Classic Rock station coming to Portage La Prairie, Manitoba

Golden West received approval today to delete the existing CFRY 920 and CFRY-1 93.1 simulcast in Portage La Prairie, Manitoba and convert CFRY-1 93.1 to a local Classic Rock station.

The technical parameters will remain unchanged at 27,000 watts (average & maximum ERP). Antenna height will be 73.5 metres (EHAAT) with a non-directional radiation pattern. The call letters will become CFRY-FM.

CFRY 920 will remain on the air and continue broadcasting the existing Country format.
