New Fly 92.9 website is up and running and an airstaff is coming

FINALLY! Fly 92.9 put up their new website today, and soon you'll be able to stream the station, according to the website. The site looks great.
Also to note...they FINALLY hired someone for the "Flight Crew". Her name is Danielle and she is from Tennessee. She will be on the air soon Mon-Fri from Noon-6 PM. So far no mention of a morning show...yet.
 
I think I speak for a lot of people when I say...finally. Thank God. Maybe they can finally get back to the music.
 
Rumor has it that someone who was or is very popular in Dayton radio may be spreading their wings soon in Morning Drive. Weed is rumored to be on track for 10-12

I would certainly think K99 has Kerrigan under a non-compete for the Dayton market. But, what about Jim Day, who just lost his gig in Nashville? Not sure how he would sound on that kind of station, or even if he would want to work that format, but ya never know. He had a good following here.
 
Jeff Wicker? He's currently in the format(at 98.7 Simon WSMW), so this could make sense.
Also, what was kentuckymedia meaning when he said that Steve Weed is looking for 10-12? ??? 10-12 what?
Also, someone has been busting their ass on the music...I've noticed a lot of different songs lately.

Assuming he means Weed will do a brief 10am to Noon shift.
 
Jim Day would be a good choice. He was very involved in the community when he was at K99.1, and don't forget they can hire his wife for promotions, a role she held at the Cox Palace. And yes, I'm sure Kerrigan is under an iron-clad contract.

It is just that, a rumor. A promotions person has been hired and will start soon. There will be no locally known talent on Fly. They want to have everything about it be new for Dayton, with no ties in any ways.
