NEW FM SERVING GREEN BAY IS ON THE AIR AT 97.5 mhz

WTAQ-FM is on the air, with right wing talk at 97.5 Mhz.

Station was a move-in from Two Rivers' Radioactive LLC sale to Midwest
last year, which saw Rhinelander's Hodag Country move frequencies to
accommodate the change.

Station started at 4pm on Friday, February 5th

Class A (6kw) from old analog TV site for WFRV-TV5

WTAQ

It's a simmulcast of WTAQ-AM (1360) It was supposed to be on the air in September but was delayed.

Duke is getting into the FM simmulcast game made popular by Bonneville. Over the summer WSAU-FM (99.9) in Stevens Point was launched simmulcasting 550 WSAU Wausau (same format as WTAQ)

WSAU-FM was a simmulcast of sister 94.7 WOFM "The Valley" and had a long history of simmulcasting with 94.7, mostly with oldies formats, later with its current adult hits format.
