New frequency & power increase approved for CFJL 100.7 (JEWEL 101) in Winnipeg

Evanov received approval today to move CFJL 100.7 in Winnipeg down a notch to 100.5 and increase the power from 51,000 to 63,500 watts (80,000 to 100,000 watts maximum ERP).

Evanov maintains that a new frequency and power boost will help shed some of the negative baggage associated with the 100.7 frequency and turn the fortunes of the station around.
