via talkers.com, 8-31 WNNH 99.1 will become New Hampshire 1 News Radio with local news, Imus, Mike Gallagher, Dennis Praeger,
Howie Carr, Michael Savage
well that explains something...... except for why?
Binnie runs that station using most of the WFNQ air staff, Chris does the morning show live on both stations, Bethany tracks mid days for both, but does each one differently.. in addition to her promotions job for 106.3
I wonder how much additional work it is going to be for Carpinelli and Laura to work around Imus's clock
Looks like they're making their newscasts available online after they air, but nothing live. Maybe there are streaming rights issues with some of the syndicated shows?
Could be. There are other stations who do stream them for those who want to hear them (...then they won't hear the local ads though).
It was the opposite for WEGP in Presque Isle ME for awhile though; they were in process of being sold (which they were, and became
non commercial Catholic radio) and on their site they said they were off air (...they'd shut off the transmitter...) for now but people could hear their
syndie shows (like Howie) via streaming at least.
