New KPNX Today in AZ Morning Anchor - Rachel McNeill

In my opinion, KPNX manages to hire the most insipid, lackluster people.
It's not a Tegna thing either. I've seen Tegna affiliates, like WGRZ in
Buffalo, NY whose talent and newscasts put KPNX to shame.......
On a more positive note, KPNX's lousy record continues, unblemished.

Agreed (although Rachel McNeil seemed fairly good this morning). I'm not impressed with the new weekend evening team. In a market this size, I expect MUCH better hiring. It's not like we're Yuma or something.

I think Rachel seemed good as well. It's not often that we get anchors from larger markets moving here. It seems we've gotten a ton from Yuma though.
 
I wouldn't know. It's been months since I got a watchable signal from KPNX - and this with a big old fashioned VHF antenna pointed right at South Mountain at a distance of about 8 miles. Fortunately, the only programs I watch on NBC are also streamed online so I don't miss 12 a bit.
