New Low power move to charlotte and would like to say hi

My Name is Mr H D or HD, i would like to say we will be broadcast on 94.7 in the charlotte market format hip hop R N B and soul , as well as independent music from the community of the queen city.

this is a nice radio community from what i've read and seen, you rarely see suppose in the radio market but this site shows it

I think I heard it the other day. Is it called B94.7? I heard an Allstate commercial and then a Rap tune off of Albermarle Rd near Walmart. Very weak signal..

I stay in west Charlotte and I hear nothing on 94.7. I seriously question the credibility of someone such as "Mr HD", who can barely put a sentence together.

I dove up Harris blvd towards university and noticed the signal came through pretty decent off of The Plaza and Harris blvd. I also heard Mr HD's name announced.

Sometimes the bass from the hip-hop music sounded clipped.. Not sure if it was because I was still out of range.

Not to sound mean as I'm not really against pirates, but...

Announcing the introduction of a pirate station in a major metro on a website full of legitimate owners, bored jocks, bored engineers, bored DXers/geeks and probably the occasional bored FCC Media Division bureaucrat. NOT SMART!

It's much like going to a police convention wearing a leather butchers apron and hauling around a suitcase with blood dripping off the bottom. You WILL stick out and people WILL figure out what you're up to very quickly.

I agree it's not smart to publicize a Pirate Station
Ok tell your friends and neighbors, but telling everyone to get more listeners can score a NOUO or NAL from the FCC.

The one and same. That part of Charlotte picks up WQDR really well, so OTOH I am surprised the Pirate picked this frequency. OTOH, I suppose it doubles as a shield to limit the range of their transmission.

Traffic was really grid-locked yesterday evening as I drove home. I almost left empty-handed because I was traveling away from the signal. It got harder and harder to receive the signal in the stop-n-go traffic. I finally just had to pick an alternate route home which lost both the Pirate and WQDR for the most part. Steve.

Actually They Call It "B94.5". Rather Strange that they Chose 94.7 in Charlotte to do this. They could have easily chosen 94.5 (which is weaker in their vicinity) which would have gotten greater range and coverage for Charlotte, since 94.5 Commercial from Greenville SC is obviously weaker in this part of Charlotte.

I too heard the "Advertiser's Commercials" (have to put that in Quotes) because the Quality of Said Commercial is "Fair or Poor" at best. Words fail to let me descibe the Quality... It sort of reminds me of when I hooked up a cable in the Late-80s to a Line-Out TV Jack on a Device and Captured TV Audio To My Cassette Deck. I guess its probably in MONO. Pretty ironic considering one of the guys touts himself as "H.D." But Hey I guess the Music can be HD but not the "Commercials"?

Also, Music Quality still leaves something to be desired. Even when the Signal was Clear, the Audio was not.

''Fake''Commercials heard today were for: AllState, OliveGarden and one for ''the iPad with Retina Display''. I wonder what said Advertisers would say if Contacted to ask about Advertising on Said Station. Steve.
