Special note.... On ch. 18 which is normally a LPTV station in New Orleans, I caught WB programming (cartoons with WB logos and all) If relaying WB for WNOL or skip , don't know right now (I'm roughly 40-50 miles from downtown NOLA)

Chances are it's a skip -- it's very rare for LPTVs to normally reach that far from the tranny on a daily basis (unless someone proves otherwise).

As you may know, some of the TV broadcast antennas are outside New Orleans and LPTV 18 was one of them. I used to catch this one (not clear mind you,but enough signal to know something is there and know what it is) before the storm and I've got about the same strength right now on it....

But yeah I'm gonna recheck it again and see a few times... But LPTV was rebroadcasting WUPL 54 before the storm so...

Edit w/new info:New Orleans Radio/TV Status (Updated 9/18/05)

Add 94.9 WPRF (and probably 94.7) back on air with Black Gospel to my update list of 9-16-05

RFLA

Edit- Just verified KNOU "hot 104.5" is on air but at a reduced signal strength compared to a few days ago at my location ... Black male voice between songs telling people for more Hurricane info to call 211 and another directing listeners to their website as given by Big Tymer in his main post for katrina info... All announcements are between songs...basically song,liner,song,liner....

Apparently URBNO is still a go BUT CC and Entercon ARE apparently splitting when it comes to ads, with Entercon running ads differnt than CC as flipping between the 2 clusters showed different coomercials

Nope..Don't have the DT convertor box yet.... and haven't heard anything from anybody... Rumored WGNO and WNOL was on someone's DT signal but that's it..
