new Radio Station in Gaffney SC WZZQ FM 104.3

This is obviously an FM translator simulcasting an AM station with the call letters WZZQ. The call letters WEAC no longer appear in radio-locator, but the call letters WZZQ show for the facilities of the former WEAC.

Sounds like more of the same spiel from Gaffney Broadcasting.

Later . . . .

At 250 watts, it has some problems covering all of Cherokee County. It's not ideal for Gaffney football fans. But they can hear the first game with Dorman this Friday on 103.3, because that's the home of Dorman football this year.

Why the new callsign -- WZZQ? What was wrong with the heritage WEAC callsign? Or, they could have resurrected the WAGI callsign. Must have been playing "drop the Scrabble tiles"? Did WEAC/WZZQ change formats? I tried to listen to their stream at http://www.wagifm.com/ but no connection...maybe it's been abandoned.
