New years eve its offical 6pm on Wnjc 1360 Am

Now, THAT'S funny :D

Mike, I hate to say it, but with all of these "cancellations," just who did you have a production meeting WITH? This sounds like the production meeting from hell, to be honest.

And speaking of ... you'll be in a cavernous, RF filled environment, with a growing number of a million souls, in a crowd you'll have to SHOUT over to be heard on a Vorizon (or whatever) cell phone on New Year's Eve at "0" Hour, Universal Time (in London, yet.)

You think you'll be the only one there on a cellphone?

Man, I'd bring at least a LOUD headset with a boom mike, an amp, probably a mixer and why not a PA system so people won't think you're just talking to yourself?

And a really loud IFB so you can hear the beeps and boops of the WNJC telephone system -- which has never worked properly since you started this, um, idea.

This could be career suicide. "The Mike Phillips Extravaganza For the Third Last Time ... Again."

Good luck, Mike...we'll be listening.

Nope go down further on the front page and you will see it

Is it this?
"SHOW HOSTS WANTED CALL JOHN at 609..."

Oh, that's cruel. Funny ... very very funny ... but cruel...

Incidentally, on the blurb about Dan Akroyd coming to WNJC1360 on Saturday nights ... does he get a brokered rate discount for being Dan Akroyd?

He's already "on" WNJC. Actually the 7 PM hour is hosted by "Dr. Lou", then at 8 PM is the "House of Blues Radio Hour". I have no idea how this arrangement is worked out.

Do I need to make my New Year's reservation's now to make or listen for this event? Is this on a subscription basis only? Do you think this might effect the Dick Clarks' Rockin Eve airing on ABC? Are you going to have Julius as a commentator during this event? Shall I tune in to your show on C.Crane or a Grundig? Are you going to have more coverage of this year's events more then the Networks or Inquirer already diluted to us over and over again?....and Are you really for real?

Nah I made it all up Merry Christmas or Happy Holidays see you at 6pm on Wnjc.

I am having lobster flown in (from Long John Silver's,) fine tortilla chips from Dallas (Frito-Lay) and beer. Mass quantities of beer.

All to hear this excitement from Timing Squares in New York City. Oh, and some dip, too. Not Mike Phillips ... the OTHER dip. Salsa, you know, the stuff made in New York City!

Why not try to get Big Daddy Graham to do a bit? That would at least be funny.

I would like to vote for the bit you did with the stray cat as my favourite moment of the 2K7. Do I have to register for a mispace dot com account or can you take my vote on here as well? I tried to sign up but I keep getting error messages and unfortunately it won't go through no matter how many times I mash my keyboard

I will be listening on New Yearss eve live from Times Sqare. I cannot think of anything more "philadelphia" than new years eve in Times sqaure except perhaps the end of Rocky IV

Remember that this show is paid for by me and i am the excutive producer with that being said no big names will appear live on the show but the best of 2007 is slated to air but anything can change last minute with what actually airs stay tuned.

Yo Oak,

Save me a few of those hush puppies from Long John Silvers, and one of those finely chosen imported Doritos. Weren’t you the one that said mass quantity’s of beer is great for part 15 ground system propagation. By the way, isn’t part 15 just about the signal capacity of WNJC?

we will keep this fact in mind as it is most gracious that you are bringing this program to the airwaves at great expense to yourself

no better way to bid 2007 adeiu than by listening to the disney phillies fan on WNJC - FM

It's really sad or interesting how people will self-exploit themselves into a career in radio these days. Especially on an AM directional low wattage signal that's brokered. Hey everybody...if you don't have a date, not into girls, you do not party, no tickets to a movie, can't afford your comcast bill, no satellite,......this is the place to spend your New Year's Eve......I'm gonna dump it all for this event....will all be there!.......All 8 of us.

Sorry to tell you but this show is so I can live my dream out and want to broadcast live from Times Square in my final broadcast of my adventure at Wnjc and as host I plan on enjoying myself onair so if you want a professional show watch Ryan and Dick on ABC if you want to laugh your azz off listen to me as i enjoy my hobby. Happy New Year when I will no longer make radio funny to listen too.
