New York Jets Football on "The Wolf", What's Happening?

Now that football season is here that "The Wolf" at 94.3 and 97.3 are still carrying Jets Football, but when I was listening to it, it still carries Yankees baseball. What is happening? I hope if Yankees can either win if they go to the playoffs and the World Series and then go to Jets Football. Or if the Yankees lose, they will go right into Jets Football. I guess that "The Wolf" is the flagship station for both Yankees baseball and Jet football. Is there any Cumulus stations can carry Jets Football? Please let me know.

I don't think "The Wolf" would be carrying Yankees and Jets together, I've seen it on TV that the Jets started their regular season, but on the other hand, "The Wolf" still runs Yankees baseball.

If you want to hear Jets football, listen to ESPN Radio at 1050 AM. But I hope it would get a better signal at night, but it interfers with Toronto's CHUM. I hope this helps.

How much of a bother would it be for Cumulus to split the WKXP/WZAD simulcast to accommodate both teams. No, that would be too easy, never mind...

That wouldn't make any sense. The two signals don't overlap by much at all. I was suprised when I was down there in June how little there is. Plus each brings the respective formats into the areas the other does, because of the locations.

They *could* put the Jets on another station (say the 96.9/92.7) pair or 97.7. during conflicts.

I was watching the Jets game about a week and a half ago and after the postgame from Yankees baseball, it goes back to country and no Jets game being heard on "The Wolf". What should we do, listen to Jets football on WEPN. Do worry, the Jets will be on "The Wolf" if the Yamkees lose in the post-season, but were in the halfway towards the post-season.
