New York Times in the planning stages for a TV Series

Its A proposed show that the NY Times is doing.


Described as "an ambitious television news series that seeks to combine the range and authority of Times journalism with immersive storytelling, innovative visuals and best-in-class production values," the show promises "groundbreaking investigations, on-the-ground reporting, agenda-setting interviews and new formats yet to be invented."

The Times is working with Left/Right, which produced This American Life's television program for Showtime as well as multiple episodes of PBS' Frontline.
