News Anchor Susan Monday hosting a talk show on WPHT 1210 AM

As you recall, news anchor Susan Monday got to host a live local talk show filling in for Suzanne LaFrankie in June. I don't know if that was the first time she did a live talk show like that but she did a great job in my opinion She will be doing local talk again live tomorrow and Thursday from 6 PM-6:30 PM. I'm glad that WPHT is giving it seems everyone like Joe Piscopo, Sal Paolantonio, Dick Jerardi, etc., a chance to do local talk. Don't be shocked in my opinion if WPHT lets other people like news anchor Joan Jones host a live talk show while filling in for someone or something else. I have no problem with WPHT letting news anchors or other people like commentators, actors/actresses, authors, columnists, other talk show hosts from other stations like Tom Marr, etc., host local talk shows on the station.

I say, bring back Don Lancer. He was a hoot on the first generation of WPHT.

A whole half hour of live talk, huh? That's really impressive on WPHT's part. How do you even do 30 minutes of talk? By the time you set-up your topic and opinion and throw in a couple breaks, it's time to go.
